Informal, relaxed and open to all, TraTra is a neighbourhood bar and eatery deep beneath the streets of London’s buzziest district. A social place to gather, drink, talk and laugh whilst enjoying delicious food, great wines, cocktails and nightly entertainment.
TraTra is a colloquial French term meaning a mix of the traditional with the contemporary and that’s the experience and atmosphere you’ll find throughout. From the menu and drinks to the DJ’s and music.
The TraTra menu is made up of French dishes with a modern and inventive twist. It is food that is designed to be shared, from snacks to larger plates and platters. The menu was created by French chef and cookery writer Stéphane Reynaud, known for his quirky mouth-watering dishes.
You are welcome to pop down for a plate of charcuterie and a few small dishes or settle in for the evening and explore the menu further. At the bar, you’ll find fantastic value wines, the majority available by the glass, plus great cocktails and beers.
From early until late there is a DJ playing a suitably stylish mix of tunes from the classic to the modern – all part of the TraTra experience.
“Tratra must be a place where everybody feels good, for any day and any occasion, a social place where sharing is primary, a place where as long as the light is on you can drink and eat – and above all, have fun.”
– Stéphane Reynaud
