Informal, relaxed and open to all, TraTra is a neighbourhood bar and eatery deep beneath the streets of London’s buzziest district – the ideal spot for lunch or dinner in Shoreditch including Sunday lunch with a bottomless fizz option and live jazz. A social place to gather, drink, talk and laugh whilst enjoying delicious food, great wines, cocktails and nightly entertainment. TraTra is a colloquial French term meaning a mix of the traditional with the contemporary and that’s the experience and atmosphere you’ll find throughout. From the menu and drinks to the DJ’s and music. The TraTra menu is made up of French dishes with a modern and inventive twist. It is food that is designed to be shared, from snacks to larger plates and platters. The menu was created by French chef and cookery writer Stephane Raynaud, known for his quirky mouth-watering dishes at his first London restaurant. You are welcome to pop down for a plate of charcuterie and a few small dishes or settle in and explore the menu further. At the bar, you’ll find fantastic value wines, the majority available by the glass, plus great cocktails and beers for late night drinks at weekends. From early evening until late there is a DJ playing a suitably stylish mix of tunes from the classic to the modern – all part of the TraTra East London dining experience. With a new Sunday feasting menu marks TraTra’s extended opening hours: six days a week for lunch. A flamboyant French feasting menu will offer guests generous charcuterie and Croque Monsieur, as well as indulgent slow cooked sharing dishes for £30 per head or £45 with a bottomless French fizz option.
